Born from illustration, conceptual art is currently widely used in sectors such as animation, cinema and video games for its ability to convey ideas, situations or concepts during the pre-production of projects. The concept artist is, therefore, a designer who creates, develops and shapes ideas in a visual way so that they serve as a guide and reflect the vision of the art director. He or she brings the first identities and characters to a production, being necessary high levels of creativity and imagination, as well as an important skill and technical ability.
The master will immerse the students in this profession by providing the artistic and technical knowledge indispensable for designing, painting, interpreting and developing projects from start to finish and in a professional manner. Throughout the program, the students will learn to identify and analyze the sector to which they are heading, to transmit emotions through color, to frame and create plans according to the subject matter of the story and to design characters, vehicles, spaces, environments and universes of their own.
