Do you have plans for the weekend? This Saturday and Sunday the curtain rises on the ÒH!PERA project, promoted by the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Barcelona City Council's Department of Tourism and Creative Industries through the Disseny Hub Barcelona.
A multidisciplinary team from LCI Barcelona has been in charge of the design of the identity, the graphic and the spatial communication of this initiative formed by four micro-operas with set designs by students from other schools in Barcelona.
The official presentation of ÒH!PERA was held at the end of June
Led by the head of the Graphic area Anna Pallerols (coordinator of the project) and the tutors Oliver Montiel (creative direction) and Toni Cabrera (space design), our students have developed a proposal that offers the audience a new opera experience based on the creative concept of a portal. When crossed, this portal contrasts the classical world with the contemporary world through visual paradoxes that deceive the senses.
The communication campaign designed by LCI includes all the posters for ÒH!PERA, both the main one and those of each micro-opera, as well as the logo, the program, the making of, the audiovisual clips and the communication on social media. The project is completed with the design and installation of the portals inside the Liceu. These structures will guide the audience during the journey of the event.
A 'Shadow.
